Common Law Admission Test i.e. CLAT is a centralised test which is conducted to get admission in the 19 most prestigious National Law Universities in India for both Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree programmes. It is conducted on a rotational basis. The duration of the test is 2 hours and it contains 200 questions which are divided into 5 different sections and they sections are Legal Reasoning, Logical Aptitude, Elementary Mathematics, English including Comprehension and General Knowledge including Current Affairs. It has both positive and negative marking this is why it is quite tricky to crack CLAT. The candidate who is appearing for the test gets 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 are deducted if a question is wrong i.e. marking scheme has a ratio of 4:1.
