The Life of a Law Student

LAW, the word speaks of the brevity and intensity which it encompasses. Since the time immemorial, law related artefacts have been deciphered signifying its significance since so long. Law is not just a study, or a degree, Law is a phenomenon in itself. Law doesn’t have a fixed formula as in physics but it has to provide a formula for the working of the society. Law isn’t about balancing the equation as in chemistry, but it has to equate both the scales in a society for its smooth functionality. Like in maths, you have to find a solution, but in law, you aren't looking for a specific value rather the weaving thread for the tattered masses. The life of a law student is not easy especially if we focus on the hardships accompanying it.

Being a law student carries more than the burden of studying books. On an average, the life of a student begins early in the morning, then recapitulate the hard monotonous stuff which you probably would have read ten times. Then going to various coaching institute and deal with the academic pressure, then slogging yourself as an intern at various courts working like a Bot and then in whatever time left, the law student has to self-study to crack other competitive exams. Law study doesn’t mean to isolate yourself and cut yourself from the whole world but rather it just required a lot of hard work, which will pay off later. The road towards success is always tough with hundred of things to drag you back, but who wishes to excel has to endure and move ahead.

The life of a law student in India is not that easy. The growth mechanism which Indian society has followed till now has hindered the various growths of an individual. Hence in such a pampered environment when a person is made to face the adversities of the society, then he gets to know the true meaning of life. The hardship one has to endure in Indian society be it a constant comparison, discrimination or injustice has propelled students to tackle theses matters in a legal way. Hence the study of law has generated huge interest, allowing students to break free of the shackles imposed on them by the dominating society. “Law has become a getaway from self”
