We know that law is a career option with which one can make a good amount of money and earn a name with their skills. In this article, we are talking about a lawyer who earned a good name with their work and inspired the whole generation to choose law as a career option.

  1. Chakravarti Rajagopalachari: C. Rajagopalchari was also known as Raja ji or C.R. But he was more than just Gandhiji’s mentor and a revolutionary. He was also an eminent lawyer, first Indian Governor General of India, 2nd chief minister of Madras, Minister of Home Affairs, Governor of West Bengal.
a.            He also worked for Dalit upliftment and temple entry movements.
b.            Mahatma Gandhi described Rajagopalachari as the "keeper of my conscience" because C.R mentored Gandhiji during his initial days of Independence Revolution.

  1. P. Chidambaram: Former Finance Minister of India is a corporate lawyer and also an important member of Congress party.
 .               He was India’s Finance Minister in May 2004, except for a three and a half year stint – beginning November 2008 – as Home Minister, in the wake of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. He returned as Finance Minister in 2012 because of Sh. Pranab Mukherjee had renounced his tenure to serve as India’s 13th President.

      3.  Kapil Sibal: Famous Indian Politician and former Union Minister in Congress-led UPA government is also a very famous lawyer who has a very respected place in Indian judicial arena.

     4.   Arun Jaitley: Our present Finance minister is also a well-known lawyer. He also holds a portfolio of Minister of Corporate Affairs. As a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party.
a.            Jaitley previously held the cabinet portfolios of Commerce and Industry and Law of Justice in the Vajpayee government (1998–2004) and served as the Minister of Defence in the Modi Government as the additional charge.
b.            Fees he charges per hearing:
i.                Supreme Court: 25+ lakhs
ii.                Delhi Court : 25+ lakhs
        
      5.    Ram Jethmalani: He is an Indian Lawyer. He has served as Union Law Minister and as chairman of Bar Council of India.
a.            He is highest paid Indian lawyer.
b.             He earned his LLB degree at the age of 17 and start practicing of his hometown (now in Pakistan) moved in Mumbai after partition as a refugee.
c.            He was selected as a member of 6th and 7th Lok Sabha.
