Some of them were typical Bollywood style movies which were less of a logic but also there are movies which showed Indian courtroom drama almost close to the reality, if not the exact truth.

1.    Pink

In this 2016 thriller drama. The legendary Amitabh Bachchan played the role of a criminal lawyer who goes through several situations to save the dignity and honour of three girls who are accused of almost killing a rich brat but reality is whole different This movie showed the importance of a lawyer in a society which needs a lawyer as the saviour of the truth.


2.  Court

This Marathi movie shows the story of an old music artist who gets accused of a bizarre case with which he doesn’t even have a connection. A lawyer picks up the case against public prosecutor. This movie a pure treat to eyes for a law and enthusiast. It shows how courts are run in the real world.

   


3.  Jolly LLB (1 & 2)

This movie was an inspired by real-life incidents. The main character ‘Jolly’ was played by Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar in part 1 and 2 respectively. They both did an excellent job in performing a job of a lawyer. This movie shows the extent up to which a lawyer can go to bring the truth out.
  

   

 

4. Shahid

This national awardee movie was exceptionally made by an outstanding director like

Hansal Mehta. It was a real-life event inspired story of a lawyer
‘Shahid’ who was arrested on the false allegations of conspiring against the state in 1994. While in jail, he studied law and after coming out he saved he saved innocent people who were accused of terrorism. This movie again showed the mettle of a lawyer. The courtroom scene was very realistic.

   

5. Damini

The muscle man Sunny Deol gave a powerhouse performance in this movie while playing a lawyer who defends the life and dignity of a raped woman. This movie bagged Sunny Deol, a national award.
